you wanted giroux + for toews. i couldnt afford the difference in salary and id rather move giroux for depth pieces than add to him to get someone.

LOL i still think youre awesome tony . but yeah the problem was the only way for me to move giroux to take on toews would have been to lose lidstrom. and personally id take giroux at 0.822 over toews at 6+ any day of the week. i dont even think id do it straight up even if i had the cap room (i realize people think im crazy for making statements like this) but the kid has 22 points in 21 games at 0.822m. and hes signed for ONLY 3.75 for 3 more years. too big of a bargain imo especially if he becomes the 85+ point player that he is on his way to becoming.
