This is tough.. Hayden got 3 points on the bench in the week vs mik.. so i dress him and sissons got 3 goals on the bench and hayden did nth when i face VAN...... HMMMMMMMMMM

Yes and no, I think I had 6 1sts for the next two seasons, but all later and only one was a lottery pick. Traded 5th overall (Dal Colle) for Clarkson + Demers I think. That was when Clarkson still seemed like he would be a good BBKLer with periphs and chipping in on offence. Terrible deal, but at least Dal Colle isn't going to be a star.

By the end of that season I had Hall, RNH, Wheeler, Edler, B. Schenn and I moved most of my picks. Was of the mindset that picks were being given more value then they were worth and used them to upgrade my roster.

I am so proud of my youngsters.. i have a choice between Sissons and Hayden.. both drafted by myself..
Sissons can help me secure FOW but Hayden can help me secure hit... Sissons has one more GP... HMMM

You and Fraser both seem to have taken similar paths of upgrade upgrade upgrade when you get some decent assets and have done well, while not many of the current pure rebuilders can say quite the same, about doing well. Maybe just upgrade upgrade upgrade is the best path, as results seem to be speaking for themselves.

Although, one has to have the assets to begin with to upgrade. I had zero prospects, one 1st in the next two draft years, and my best player was a just bought out 33 year old Mike ribeiro when I started. However, Ive added a good amount of prospects and picks, and some quality NHL players in wennberg, Nylander, subban, Suter, green, dubnyk so I may follow your guys examples and shift gears in the near future, as that seems like the tried and true way to BBKL success at this point.

i've never been so excited in following every games since i joined BBKL lol... well i did follow every game in the first couple seasons when im tanking
