Florida block
I guess this can be called my pre expansion block, but in reality I could care less about expansion. My team is decent and I am going to lose somebody decent, basically no matter what I do. I could trade all the decent players I will not protect, but likely for much less than market value. Then after the expansion draft I would want to go out and get more players, likely at market to market + value. My team as most other that are decent will be much better off, to just simply loose 1 alright player to expansion.
This is more a block to just see what the interest level is, and to make a few moves. I am looking to improve my team, but also am interested in pick(s)/prospect return. The below players can/likely will be moved now, or after expansion draft. If I get a fair offer, I will move now.
Sam Gagner - only trading if I get a decent to good return. He is on the block because he will likely be getting a big raise. I can make room, but he had a great season and trading him might will probably be easier than making room. If not moved he will be protected in the expansion draft.
Sven Andrighetto - Been asked about him by a number of GM's over the past month or so. Really looks good in Colarado since getting traded there. I will likely protect him if interest has faded, but he will move if the offer is good.
Carl Soderberg - he had a horrible season, but the whole Colorado team did, so I'm not worried about that. Reason he is on the block, is because Danault basically took over that spot on my team, and he Soderberg is too expensive to have as my 5th C.
Jussi Jokinen - Played hurt most of the season. He is getting up there, but he is under contract for 5 more years, so he is going nowhere soon. He will bounce back.
Steve Gionta - Is a good 4-5th/spare Center, but can use him as a piece for a player/pick/prospect upgrade.
Toby Enstrom - Enstrom will be exposed to the expansion draft. If not taken will still try to trade. He had offseason surgery, and was also hurt most of the season. Likely not going to put up the pts like he did in the past, but still puts up good #'s in all the others categories. He just simply makes to much for my team. Looking more for futures.
Trevor Daley - Have had interest in him. Open to options
Not moving (unless socks blown off)
Rantanen
Nylander
Backland
Fowler
Frolik
Danault
Open to move, but not shopping. If interested make a offer
Bouwmeester
Goligoski
Olesiak
Merrill
Chiasson
Comeau
Smith
Khaira
Sabford

Oh I like expansion and think it will be a good thing for our league. I am glad you will actually be able to draft a completive team. When I say I could care less, I just have come to teams with the fact that you are going to get 1 very good player off my team, no matter what I do. I have excepted that, so there is no point in worrying about it. Until the expansion draft is over, the trade market will be bad. Any player I think you may take, could be traded, leaving you with a small list of junk players, but the return I get would really hurt my team. Not every team, but I do believe mine would look a lot better if I simply just let you take 1 decent player straight up off my roster. I made the trade block to make a few trades, and maybe improve my team, not to get rid of the 3 or 4 good players who I leave exposed. If the value isn't there, I am not going to make a trade just to avoid losing him for nothing.

Yeah, I normally I don't give half a shit about grammar or whatever but for whatever reason that one expression throws me off. I can't explain why and I know it makes me a total douche, but oh well.Bruyns wroteCOLONHe was being the grammar police lol
It's I couldn't care less

Re: Florida block
Bump
Getting the most interest in Sam Gagner, and Sven Andrighetto, as expected. If interested let me know.
I also had no intention of trading Danualt, but got (no real offers) a lot of interest in him. Would likely only trade him for a really good prospect or pick. Can also add a player(S) for a decent upgrade.
