Re: CGY/DAL
Decent trade... guess it depends on if the other piece Josh loses is worth what he got in return, which I have to imagine it is. I'm a fan of Peeke so i think it's pretty solid. Will continues to add valuable pieces, though wonder how much Alzner is gonna sign for...

I'd hate to imagine what it would cost to actually prevent you from taking someone you wanted, you've taken multiple decently high picks just to not take players you didn't want.timwebb1212 wroteCOLONYesShoalzie wroteCOLONIs this trade any worse than sending a bunch of picks to Tim to not draft him?

A lot. He wanted me to pay more to protect bernier than he received from Hong to protect grubauer because he plans on taking him. But bernier is only worth like a 2nd + 3rd total...Sensfanjosh wroteCOLONI'd hate to imagine what it would cost to actually prevent you from taking someone you wanted, you've taken multiple decently high picks just to not take players you didn't want.timwebb1212 wroteCOLONYesShoalzie wroteCOLONIs this trade any worse than sending a bunch of picks to Tim to not draft him?

I reiterate that I still would've just taken Grubauer.Matthew wroteCOLONA lot. In all honesty that might've been the right move. I should've at least waited till closer to now to do the deal so I was more aware of my options. Oh well, not a big loss. Learn and move on. Not afraid to admit when I made a mistake.CasperX22 wroteCOLONI reiterate that I still would've just taken Grubauer.Matthew wroteCOLONA lot. Yes, hong did well to get in on the protection early. AND he got 2 guys protected, nevermind just one

Re: CGY/DAL
ya i thought it's better to negotiate earlier than later when the price is set too high.. but i thought i did send a fair value to him.. the goalie markets changes and you guys are making trades to give tim a hard time.. hence making me look like a smart guy keeping grubauer.. i think he would have had better options for sure
re- sissons.. i need a 5th C and he is putting a nice season in nsh (not looking at scoresheet.. he's getting more ice time and some times playing 2nd line minutes).. i think he would be more valuable to me down the road.. i'd totally willing to send picks to keep sissons and not risk any chance should cap issues comes to Tim's team and he has to pick a cheap player from me..
