I thought Schmidt had a nice showing in the playoffs for the Caps...he'd be an intriguing option. McQuaid is probably the safest pick...you know what you'll get from him and he's got a nice AAV for the next couple years. Shinkaruk is still a fairly intriguing prospect. I'd pass on Beleskey if he's got other forwards he's coveting on other teams.

CC has decided that once Vegas Golden Knights make their first selection in the Expansion draft that No GMs including GM Tim will be able to make trades until the conclusion of the expansion draft reveal so as not to give unfair advantage or disadvantage to GMs whose selection is revealed at differing times in the draft.
