and congrats on picking your team! that definitely feels like a fantasy draft which i missed! definitely there are some picks which we would disagree on but i don't know if i can do better myself..
all the best to your team moving forward and i hope your team will be competitive (or go the way you wish to build) down the road!

Lots of work to be done. The focus is on primarily:

Starting goalie: I'll be offering Bernier or Halak and the necessary adds to acquire some starting goaltending. The better the better.
Center upgrades: Jarnkrok, Mackenzie, Stajan, Sodeberg is not gonna cut it. I'll be looking to acquire some better C's.
Scoring: My team is in need of some scorers. Will look to acquire some before the start of the season.

Something I'd like to do is offer 2-for-1s to teams in need of bodies or depth where I give up two of my decent players for one superior player.

I don't know if that's true. They'll probably be slotted based on standings like the rest of the league.

I had heard that a while back but then when I went to find a source I couldn't find anything. Just to show I wasn't completely making it up, the mention it in this article:

but then say they aren't sure if that was legit or not.

I actually read the same thing that they are locked in to a lotto pick for a couple of years but never found anything official. Can't recall what slot it was tho
