Will's center position is great right now...even if he plans to move Crosby.

I needed depth down the middle and up front. I don't know if Connor and Aberg are NHL ready now but they will be soon. Hertl fits more of the profile as a 3C but he could play his way into a 2C role.

Really surprised Scott moved Trochek, guess it could pay off if he gets 3 quality players, but I'm not a believer in Aberg.

Happy to see Will finally decide to go for it, was getting worried he would just sit on all his prospects forever and not be aggressive.

Once he acquires a 5th C that specializes in more periphs or scoring, he wud be unstoppable

Crazy how good his team is now and he still has stud prospects in his stable.

I said I'd move Trocheck for the perfect deal. The template of that deal is what I was looking for. A solid NHL center, a top center prospect, a forward prospect and a higher draft pick. That pick is 38th overall.

There's a good chance of that, yes. He was LW with Compher and Motte. The Jets are strong at center with Schiefele and Little.

I absolutely love Connor always have but was only way the deal was getting done and I let Scott pick his package bc he was very upfront and honest about he didn't want to move him

Excellent points...I wondered about that too. He was very good in an expanded role. Maybe his faceoff numbers go down but he's a 2-way stud for a smaller guy. Really like his game but you have to give to get.
