Ya really seems to hate his skating, was one of the guys I was hoping maybe would fall to 33 since he was head and shoulders above the other forwards on his team.

He was also one of the more productive players in this class and still hasn't turned 18 yet I believe. He was on my radar if he slipped.

Robertson is another polarizing guy, I've seen him as high as 23 and as low as 75. If he can improve his skating he should be a good player.

Who had him at 75?

You dislike Hague but like Robertson? I actually think Robertson is a worse skater. Personally I'd avoid him. He's a sloppy skater.

Didn't say I dislike Hague. I'd take him in the 20's - early 2nd range. I'm not a fan of taking players with limited ceilings higher than that.

Basically the same reasoning I gave for I wouldn't take Rasmussen before around pick 20 either.

I actually think Hagues ceiling is pretty high. The only knock on him is his first step. He's essentially Brandon Carlo imo.

When i watch him play he reminds me of a mix between Carlo and Forbort.

I think he goes higher than Arian took him. 17 to the leafs is my prediction.

It's a good possibility. Will probably be taken before some better players thanks to size bias.

And yeah I figured that Robertson was worth a gamble at this point in the draft, great upside if he can improve his skating a little
