I think the contract is fine, but agree with a few in here that I don't think his point total goes up much if at all. His 5 on 5 stats weren't great and TB has better personnel on the PP. To me it seems like TB has always wanted to move him after he was a problem for them and they finally got an offer they felt was worth it. Very skilled player, but not sure it was what MTL needed.

Get Drouin a legitimate, consistent playmaking center on his line and his production should increase. Unfortunately, not a lot of that upfront in Mtl.

MTL have about $17m to fill about 5-6 positions. Galchenyuk, Beauleiu and Nesterov are RFA. King, Radulov, Flynn and Markov are UFA

5 players... so they can fit in one 6-7mil contract then has the other has to be on bargain

That was my thought, have Gally and Drouin split duties as 1A/1B at C, move Plek to the third line, then you have Radulov, Patches, Gallagher and Shaw/Lekohnen to fill out your top 6

it is a bad list lol, they have a guy I took around 90 listed in the top 15.
