28 and 29 this season iirc, not old, but older than the core of their team, and like I said not sure how they actually fare once Stepan is playing in the West and Raanta is leaned on as a starter

But they need some veteran presence. No more Hanzal, Doan, Smith, Vrbata is unsigned... Their oldest sign player is Brad Richardson right now at 32.

I agree. This very young team needs these veterans on the team. These veterans will be able to lead on and off the ice and allow this team to gel together.
