Not a fan for NJD
Re: NJD / DAL
I can see why some people won't like it. I'm gambling a little on both guys panning out this year at the cost of a couple of prospects that might make the NHL in 3-4 years. We'll see if I'm right
Re: NJD / DAL
I'd say Weal carves out a 4th line role this season, but I think Dano is going to have to move to breakthrough.Loki wroteCOLONI can see why some people won't like it. Re: NJD / DAL
Already said my opinion, but giving up the most valuable piece and adding for two fringey type NHLers doesn't seem like a good move as a rebuilder.
Re: NJD / DAL
I think I see these two a little differently to some but there's definitely risk involved. Weal spent time on Giroux's wing last year and has very promising indicators, whether or not the team realises that we'll see. Dano I'm hoping moves, Kinda wish he'd gone to Vegas

Filppula-Patrick/Hischier-Schenn
That's the Flyers top 9. If he makes it as a Flyer, it is going to have to be as a 4th liner. Of course Patrick/Hischier could be sent back to junior or Weal moves on. That would certainly change things for him, but right now the upside in this deal isn't there.

That's what I'm saying, its not that the 2nds are going to definitely be better, its just bad value imoCasperX22 wroteCOLONTK-Giroux-Simmonds

Re: NJD / DAL
Prefer DAL side, seems like each player is worth a 2nd so Dorsett is cheap. I offered a 2nd for him so like him on a contending team.
Re: NJD / DAL
Well, things look a little better for Weal at least.
Re: NJD / DAL
i kinda like it for loki... i traded my 2nds for pitlick and gaunce which is worse haha

Re: NJD / DAL
If weal and dano come out good this year he can get a quick profit. Or if they come out crap he loses this bad.

Re: NJD / DAL
Yeah it's totally a gamble for me, I'm expecting solid years from both guys, but if they both flame out I'm boned. Such is life
Re: NJD / DAL
i think dano alone is worth the gamble for 2nd + 3rd.. weal is worth a 2nd... so it's quite good i think... quite fairish but like it for your side a bit more as you will need those pieces and dallas doesn't need them

With any luck I'll probably move someone like Dadonov later in the year when his value is higher to recoup picks too
