Looks like the Bruins won the game of chicken
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I would, that's cheap for his prime and well below his asking price. Surprised he didn't sign a bridge deal, but on the plus side that's a nice comparable for Nylander next year.Matthew wroteCOLONI wouldn't say they won.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Heiskanen with a concussion playing on some shitty team in some shitty Finnish league. Great job.

Maybe a 7th
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Asking price means squat. I say they is about right for what he should be making. Neither side won.Bruyns wroteCOLONI would, that's cheap for his prime and well below his asking price. Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
You have an opinion he is worth that and neither won, but when looking at how the negotiations went it's pretty clear who "won".
"The AAV is clearly a win for the Bruins salary cap, when rumors flew of Pastrnak’s camp asking as high as $8 million a year."
"patience clearly paid off for the Bruins."
I think it's a lot of $, but based on what he was asking for I think the Bs did well to lock him up at that price.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
First breakout season doesnt warrant 8 mil tho.. and it shouldnt
Phil the thrill had to score multiple 30 40 goal seasons to be able to land his 8 mil. Cap ceiling hasnt even gone up that much since then so i basically think pastas camp was on drugs as well. Was a pipedream to start with. Boston in the end signed him for what he was worth and pastas agent knew he wasnt getting 8 but tried anyway. Moreso a case of start the price high to get what they were expecting to get + a bit more

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Our expansion draft GM hasn't signed on in 20 days. A little concerned.

18 days at ADHL, no concern here. Nothing going on and expect he will be around for the waiver draft.Matthew wroteCOLONOur expansion draft GM hasn't signed on in 20 days. A little concerned.
