Re: GDP Week 6
I love how much I spend a lot to put together a complete top 6 and then Methot gets dinged and misses some action and Folin is a healthy scratch in the last two games.
Not a great week overall but still up in 3 out of 4 matchups. Arian is putting the boots to me. This is one of those weeks where I'd be happy to break even. I don't want to lose ground.

Re: GDP Week 6
Both conferences have some imbalance in their divisions but you can see there's quite of balance between the two conferences.
Mike is the separating himself as the best team overall while the three next teams are all in the West. The Central and the Atlantic are the cream of the crop of their conferences with 5 playoff spots each and the next closest team for the WC2 is the 6th place team in the division.
The Pacific and the Metro are similar in that there seems to be two teams in each division that are above the rest. Third place has a good hold of their spot but there's healthy competition behind them.
I think the old theory may hold true of having a good idea by U.S. Thanksgiving as to which teams that could be the ones going to the playoffs. There's good positional battles amongst teams in playoff spots but you're seeing the battles for 3rd in the Metro and Pacific developing and the WC2 in the East and West are far from being decided. There seems to be more separation in the West than the East. I'd be willing to bet on a team in the East that isn't in a playoff spot by the end of next week making the playoffs compared to a team in the West.
