Bennings first draft (2014) he took virtanen(6th) and mccann (24) and demko (36).
2015- boeser (23rd) Gaudette (149)
2016 - Juolevi (5th)
2017 - pettersen (5th) lind (33rd)

Nothing else much notable...yet. id say his trading and signing has been poor and his drafting pretty good. Althougj when u are drafting 5th/6th overall most years you should have strong drafting. His boeser pick made up for the virtanen pick.

Definitely not saying he shouldn't have misses, but they've drafted pretty high since he got there. If it wasn't for hitting on Boeser his draft history would be looking pretty bleak or at least too early to tell

I wouldn't give up on Virtanen yet. His underlying process has been mostly good, but he was rushed to the NHL too early and you can't keep playing him with plugs on the 4th line and expect much from him. He was the type of prospect that was always going to take time to develop and in that sense they overdrafted him and expected too much from him too soon.

Well, anyone can pick 1st rounders. He's had some decent success in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Taken a lot of guys with zero shot at ever being nhl players in the later rounds. I'd say he's been about average.

Yeah average is about where I'd put him too, really depends how some of those recent picks pan out. Virtanen and Juolevi could go either way. Virtanen I'm pretty skeptical will meet his perceived upside though
