Is it not extremely difficult to maintain a goalie system for a team when we draft before the NHL does? Seems like a concept with a short shelf-life unless the goalie has a long-term contract.

It's the reason why that idea came into fruition. Some GM's got rich off of price gouging teams for every worthless piece of their system. GM's also have the ability to not pay it though. Shouldn't have to legislate stupidity.

Agree 100%. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to in order to ensure a level playing field.

This league already does a good deal to prevent stupidity from being a problem.

Seems like Matt has enough of a lead on Mike to win the Atlantic.
Tampa-Boston fighting it out for A3 and WC1...just two points apart.
Paul can still chase down Mike for M3.
The top 3 in the Central are still kinda up for grabs...order of finish that is.
Seems like P2, P3 and WC2 are up in the air as well.

Love the matchups going down to the wire to determine final seedings - let alone a key Head-to-Head matchup against BOS - that would likely decide it. Always fun to track, could go down to the final game.

I was 20 wins behind edmonton for 3rd in pacific coming into this week.

Desmith was called up monday night, and unfortunately i didnt have him dressed. If i had dressed him i would be up on edm by 14.5 wins so far this week total and be a few categories away from cqtching him. I need domingue to get a shutout and then get a few other categories swinging my way.
