No phone from tomorrow to Thursday. Good matchup Thom better luck next year. You're going down Steve/Mik.

I'm a little concerned about your recent fascination with fat ladies, Thom...

I wouldn't count out Mik either...was just asking the question based on the way the matchups are right now.
Even if Stalock or Dubnyk get a win tonight...that still means he'd have to flip 4 categories in his favor. 6-3 in Mik's favor with skater GP.
Goals...not impossible, down 5. Laine and Hornqvist could go off. Possible but not likely.
Points...again, not impossible...4 down. Probably more likely than goals given his potent defense.
+/-...I'd say that one is doable...+4 down.
SOG...doable as well...down by 7.
GWG/STP...Steve only leads by 1 in both.
Just the offensive categories...I can see him taking back 4 categories. If the Bruins beat the Wild...it means Mik would have to flip 5 categories to win since Steve wins in the event of a tie. Mik getting a shutout win with his goalies could make this very interesting.
Thom is probably in worse shape. Bishop won't play so he can't flip any goalie categories. He's down 6-4 in GP for today. Maybe he can flip goals but he'll need to flip at least two more categories to win.

... a BUF/LA final, eh?
Re: BBKL Playoffs - Round 3 (Conference Finals)
fuck. needed a healthy squad , and then it would have been a good match. Phaneuf going to LA and for some reason not PKing fucking sucked too.
I hate marchand. sO much.
Good job Matt, your team is relentless.
Not sure who I'm cheering for in the final yet. Probably Tony's gifs.

Great matchup, Mik! I have never played a week where every stat was interchangeable by 1 or 2.
Re: BBKL Playoffs - Round 3 (Conference Finals)
well this was the likely ending, coming from #2 in the Central means facing 4 tough match-ups in a row to go all the way.. chances are you have a not so good week over that span and that's enough to go out against such opponents.
Your team performed admirably despite the injuries Steve, congrats, should make for a good final.
Hopefully it won't be too affected by healthy scratches (meant as big players getting rested) through the 2 final weeks, where sadly we still don't allow for any lineup changes.

Re: BBKL Playoffs - Round 3 (Conference Finals)
Congrats to Matt and Steve...two of the best teams all season long.
Mik mentions the healthy scratches down the stretch. There's 4 NHL teams that have clinched playoff spots already. Matt has Marchand and Steve has Miller and Forsberg. I guess we'll see what the motivation of those teams will be in the final two weeks because the division titles are still up for grabs.
The other side of this are the teams bottoming out. Key players on lottery teams are getting shut down. Matt and Steve are both very well-constructed rosters so depth shouldn't an issue for them. Steve does have a potential issue in goal with Fleury.
