I mean it would suck if he went to MTL at any position just because they are a bad organization at the moment but it would be really nice for me to have the 7th overall this year and 6th overall last year both go 3rd overall in their respective drafts.

It would also suck if he went to most of the bottom 10 teams but that's how the draft works.

Hopefully Kot can be a legit 1c rather than a top 6 c in the NHL

If any other team drafted Kot at 3rd overall there wouldn't be an issue but because it;s MTL and they are drafting for positional need, it's a bad thing.

I took him 6th in adhl, as much as I dislike MTL I think it's an ok spot if he ends up there. Hes not going to make the team this year and MTL will spend to the cap and improve in the future.
