but then i try to unite the Mcloads.. zadina + kaut.. but i know the world is not perfect hahaha.. and i will freak out if leafs pick merkley.. haha
this seems really fun.

Haha yeah I tried to pick guys who I could see teams taking for one reason or another, gets tricky though, could be a crap shoot towards the end. I've seen a bunch of places suggesting the Leafs might take a shot on Merkley, I wasn't originally going to put him there but when I got to it I could see them as an organisation which would try and develop him whereas others around the end of the first round I wasn't so sure would. Just made sense as a long term gamble for them

I mean it would suck if he went to MTL at any position just because they are a bad organization at the moment but it would be really nice for me to have the 7th overall this year and 6th overall last year both go 3rd overall in their respective drafts.

It would also suck if he went to most of the bottom 10 teams but that's how the draft works.

Hopefully Kot can be a legit 1c rather than a top 6 c in the NHL

If any other team drafted Kot at 3rd overall there wouldn't be an issue but because it;s MTL and they are drafting for positional need, it's a bad thing.

If Lot is our target I hope Bergevin is smart enough to trade down from 3 to get more assets cause we all know he'll still be there around 6-8. Picking him at 3 is retarded.
