Good question. Usually there is only one injury in an event like that. Something gives way first and if they are saying it’s the ankle, unlikely to have a bad knee injury. The type of fracture I mentioned will often have a fracture of the fibula near the knee but usually doesn’t afftect knee function at all. Load transfer from the inside of the ankle, to the outside of the ankle and up the outside of the shin - often fracures tibia and fibula and tears the ligament between them at the ankle.
But who knows - could be totally wrong...

I dunno. I had heard from somebody that he tore is acl+mcl+lcl in addition to fracturing is ankle. Haven't found anything to substantiate that tough.
Re: Attention Tankers
well that would be horrible, hopefully it’s just baseless speculation

Jesus if that’s true... awful injuryCasperX22 wroteCOLONI dunno. I had heard from somebody that he tore is acl+mcl+lcl in addition to fracturing is ankle. Haven't found anything to substantiate that tough.
But also incredibly unusual to tear those three ligaments together unless there was a knee Dislocation which I really don’t think there was... has to be high energy or you have to be really fat
Re: Attention Tankers
from what i recall of the video, wouldn't be shocked if a low grade MCL strain, but beyond that ... that would be surprising - and super unfortunate
