Letang>Doughty and Henrique and Smith are similar but Cs are more valuable. I guess maybe Letang's health scares could be a reason to want to move off of him. Don't really buy the get younger reasoning when you are going from 31 to 29 and 28 to 27 it's not really significant.

I think 31 to 29 is a big gap in our league for age. The 3 triggers people. And that add is worthless in comparison to this deal.

Interesting, I definitely prefer the LA side but a lot of that is I believe Letang is much healthier now than he has been in the past. Guess we'll see

It's barely a gap at all. Also doesn't negate the fact that LA got bo th of the better pieces and saves on future cap. I'm not really sure what the point of this deal is for Scott. At best it's a lateral move in which he had to add to get. Pretty sure the idea of a retool/rebuild is to gain value and additional assets long term. This deal does neither for Scott.
