Justin Faulk
Looking to move. I'm loaded with dmen. Would like to flip for a waiver exempt dman, winger, or Center.
Great stats across the board. Locked into a cap friendly contract at 4.8 for another year or 2.
Public, text, PMs all welcomed.

Re: Justin Faulk
Faulk isnt a cap dump. I have 2 mil in cap space (with Subban in the minors). This is to open up a spot for Travis Sanheim. The deal will be beneficial for both teams (if one is to happen)
Happy holiday in Canada!

Those are quality young players you are asking there. I like Faulk just as much as the next guy, but those are big asks. The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONBump.

Re: Justin Faulk
Check Faulk's stats - very good all around, 26yrs and on a solid contract. Makes sense to me. Just prefer Debrusk over him personally.Da_Hawks wroteCOLONThose are quality young players you are asking there. Re: Justin Faulk
The guys on your list all have the potential to be better than Faulk, which is likely why you are asking for those types of players. Honestly, I don't see Faulk being worth that RIGHT NOW... but once he is finally traded out of Carolina anything is possible. His situation and offensive production make him just a good d-man, but nothing special. The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONI suppose comments like this is why the league will always be divided.Da_Hawks wroteCOLONThose are quality young players you are asking there. Potential. Most players fall short of their potential.Da_Hawks wroteCOLONThe guys on your list all have the potential to be better than Faulk, which is likely why you are asking for those types of players. Re: Justin Faulk
Faulk at the same age was a better player. Most players follow the same projection. Faulk is a top 2 or 3 dman and 26 years old. The guys listed above are probably 22ish and fall in the 3-6 projections.Da_Hawks wroteCOLONThe guys on your list all have the potential to be better than Faulk, which is likely why you are asking for those types of players. If you don't find it reasonable, then dont make an offer. Sadly, there isnt a player on your roster worth Faulk. So making comments like this just hurts the value of every player on your roster.
Re: Justin Faulk
I'm not delusional to think that any one of my players could net me the type of value you are looking for. Let's be honest here - my team is trash and everyone knows it, so flexing your muscles and telling me my team sucks isn't going to hurt my feelings. But if it makes you feel better, then please continue to do so. I was just trying to have a conversation.

Re: Justin Faulk
I'm not flexing anything. I guess I'm starting to see Miks logic in the bbkl. If teams dont pay a fair price then the league will always be top heavy.Da_Hawks wroteCOLONI'm not delusional to think that any one of my players could net me the type of value you are looking for. There is always room for debate, but personally I think most of the players I listed above are good deals for the guy getting Faulk.
Re: Justin Faulk
The league won't always be top heavy, but when you have guys like Mik who are fleecing new GMs by demanding 18 first round picks for Scott Darling and calling him a vezina candidate and the trade goes through, nothing is really going to change. We are getting way off track here, because I don't think the difference in value between Faulk and Dermott is the same as Darling and what his return got. But based on my one year in business, it's pretty obvious why the league is top heavy and it's not because of these small trades. The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONI'm not flexing anything. Re: Justin Faulk
Ya
Well this isnt a fleecing thread.
See above, if you have a similar player to those listed and need a top 3 dman, send an offer.
Happy holiday,
Steve

Re: Justin Faulk
Always a Garland fan, but no thanks.
This is the type of deal I'm willing to do...young guy in the NHL with unproven potential.

Re: Justin Faulk
yeah right, cause Darling was valued like a Vezina candidate in that trade rather than a struggling starter?Da_Hawks wroteCOLON The league won't always be top heavy, but when you have guys like Mik who are fleecing new GMs by demanding 18 first round picks for Scott Darling and calling him a vezina candidate and the trade goes through, nothing is really going to change. .
I also wonder about me fleecing new GMs.. but maybe I'm just having bad memory.
