Ur query was instantly covered for on the first post in response by bruyns lol. Thats basically it lol
Then why has there been other people putting forth their opinion after his? Sometimes I wonder if you have any idea what you are doing.
He doesn't, but I think it's pretty.much a given that not many if any would be in favor of moving the draft til after the NHL draft. Especially from guys that have been here a while.
I figured haha. And it's cool - I wasn't lobbying for one way or another. Just bored and wanted to learn more about BBKL.

I enjoy watching the nhl draft more now as it's exhilarating watching where ones picks end up in relation to where I or others picked them. Whether I took a late pick who ended up in the nhl 2nd round, or took a guy in the 3rd round and he didn't get nhl drafted. Good or bad - I'm always on the edge of my seat waiting for that bbkl rush, baby.

I am not sure it works well for my team doing our draft before, I could have waited and easily drafted later than I did guys like O.Kase, Wallmark, Hallander, Samorukov, Chekhovich, Slepets, Vehvilainen etc , but there is also the odd case where it works the other way, like with Luostarinen, Merzlikins..

in any case, doing it before the draft sure makes both drafts (ours and NHL's one) more interesting and it's the way to go

I prefer before as well. Nothing like the highs (taking Brandon Montour in the 6th round), to the lows (drafting Zach Sawchenko in the 2nd round only to go undrafted). Adds a layer on intrigue, plus gives people something to do (research) in the off season to keep busy. People who do their research tend to get rewarded.

Drafting before the nhl does their draft is half the fun of our draft we run :)
