Post by Handsome&FairMike »

Handsome&FairMike wroteCOLON2019 OffSeason Pens

Filip Forsberg - Jonathan Toews - Jake DeBrusk
Tanner Pearson - Nolan Patrick - Kasperi Kapanen
Andrew Copp - Cody Glass - Austin Watson
Patrick Marleau - Pierre-Edouard Bellemare - Austin Wagner
Ex: Daniel Sprong, ?Scottie Upshall

Aaron Ekblad - Jacob Trouba
Andy Greene - David Savard
Mirco Mueller - Brent Seabrook
Ex. Tim Heed, Ben Harpur

Matt Murray
Curtis McElhinney

Potential Callups:
Mitchell Stephens
Joe Hicketts
Ethan Prow
Current roster above.
Pretty content with the backend. Could look to move one D-Man for upgrades at W/C (happy to look at 2 for 1).
Would also look at swapping lower end NHLers for prospects.
McElhinney can also be had for a worse backup + additional piece.

Let me know if you see anything/anyone of interest.

Glad I do not own your first round pick this year. That is a really nice looking roster right there.

Pretty much the same squad as last year.
Hoping for Glass to make the jump, a full year of Watson, and some continued improvement in some of the younger guys.
Also if Murray plays more consistently, that would really help.

All in all was a top 10 team weekly in the second half of the year... hopefully it rolls into this year.

Going into last year, I was not expecting Toews to rebound or for Trouba to be a monster offensive player. Your bottom six covers periphs very well - the only thing you may need is a scoring winger, which you have already identified. Then again, Debrusk may break out at any time, though I expect Kapanen's numbers to come back down a little bit once he plays more of a 3rd line role this year.

Ya never know though. I just like how your team is built. Looks like a solid overall team.
