8 Potential skaters this season.
ANAHEIM DUCKS
Centers (bbkl positions)
Connor McMichael (CAN) ****
Wingers
Brayden Tracey (CAN) ***
Michal Teply (CZE) ***
Filip Koffer (CZE) *
Demetrios koumontzis (USA) *
Defensemen
Ty Smith (CAN) ****
Tim Berni (SUI) **
Moritz Seider (GER) *****
Most excited for my defense this year: Seider will be the main draw in Germany and should run over these children after showing how physical he can be in the AHL; Smith was one of the top Canadian defenders last year so he may even get captaincy this time around: and Berni will be a big part of the Swiss team as he's all ready playing his second year in the Swiss men's league.
On the wing I'm praying Brayden Tracey is even given a limited role with the team as he did quite well at least years u18 tournament. Teply will make the Czech team, but whether he can produce here is another thing. Koffer and koumontzis not likely to make their teams.
Canada doesn't usually take too many 18 year olds but McMichael may have played his way onto the team this year going at a 2.37pt/gm pace in the OHL this year. He's only ever played one other major international tournament for Canada (u17) so I wouldn't be surprised if they leave him behind. I guess it depends if many guys from last year are released by NHL organizations.
Note: Last year I had the captain's of both teams in the finals: Finland (Talvitie) and Russia (Kostin). This tournament I may have as many as 3 captain's: Germany (Seider), Switzerland (Berni), and Canada (Smith).

Re: World Junior Championships 2020 Talk
Not sure how much running over Seider will do, but just winning a game would be an accomplishment for Germany.

Hoping Benoit-Olivier Groulx gets in as the 3rd/4th C - play a Freddy Gauthier role.
