Im sort of lost in the hockey world this season. But it appears to be fair.

That’s cause you’re pretty much famous now and doing the family thing also. We know you’re still kicking around though. Nothing wrong with taking a little step back from things.

Currently this is 100% true. At least when it comes to value

Nice trade, fills a big need for Scott, and Kyle gets some nice young pieces he has been looking for.

I'm still confused as to what Scott is doing. In a vacuum value looks relatively fair.

It was a move to round out my defense and it didn't cost me a player out of my active lineup. I've been sitting on Donato, Gusev and Engvall in the minors for long enough. Donato is the most expendable of the three guys. Moving Russell is a profit since he was a free claim last year. He was depth at this point and instead of waiving him, I was happy to get a late rounder back.

Looking back at how my team started to take shape after these last trades, I probably could've held off on moving Sergachev. I still like the deal but still having Sergachev would've kept me more competitive now which is what I'm going for. Fischer's playing time has been screwed up since the Hall trade. Niku will hopefully a full-timer by next year at the latest. Fischer can be an extra guy for me until he gets regular playing time again. He's been alternating with the 11th/12th forwards in Arizona.

I'm excited to go into this week with Vatanen and Gusev added to my lineup...both should give me a nice boost offensively and Vatanen is a solid all-around defenseman.

Chill out, Scott. You're ruining my pick.

Suppose that's a positive.
