I can practically do that with what I have. Just need to compare the BBKL position to the real draft position. I have all those data points.

I've been collecting this data for years...just trying to find different ways to use it.

Aston-Reese is undrafted so I don't know how you measure that. Our waiver draft is basically us drafting the best available undrafted free agents.

Bemstrom you took 84th...he was pick 117th by Columbus.

I can take my draft sheets and attach the career GP to each player to show in the player has appeared in the NHL or not. In the end, isn't the point of this draft to find NHLers? The degree of NHL success with vary.

That's why I went with playing in an NHL game in my post in the other thread. That's the goal to get NHLers so seems like the easiest way to measure. You get some quirks like guys who only ever play a handful of games, but I'd argue that's still a more successful pick then a guy with 0GP.

After I update our draft sheet tonight, I'll slap together a report with some of our recent drafts to show which picks "turned pro" or not. What is everyone's "hit rate" in a given draft? Which rounds produced the most pros?
