good thing Bura hit 20 in just 58 games with Covid cutting the season short.

Now over a point per game in the playoffs btw (on a due sidenote, Vrana who had a strong season himself registered 0 points in 8 playoff games).
Meanwhile, Reilly Smith has been on the block forever and doesn't look like GMs offered anything good (or as good as Bura anyway) for him since

Not a big surprise the good ship Avalanche is being lead by MacKinnon/Rantanen/Landeskog/Makar but they're getting really good secondary contributions from Kadri and Burakovsky along with Girard on defense.

Burakovsky has to be raising his price tag a bit with his playoff showing but the Avs have a lot of cap room. I'd betting on somewhere between Landeskog and Kadri in terms of cap (between $4.5 and $5.5 million).

Smith is still a better all-around player but I feel good about the deal at this stage. I got a younger player who's stock was low but has rebounded in a new city. Smith would be a nice player on a contending team in our league. God forbid he's 29 but he's a steady 50-60 point player that hits other categories.
