lol thanks for the support. Surprised that he went before Perfetti but I think that Buffalo could be a good fit for him.Matthew wroteCOLONBoston gm hasek taking Quinn 5th doesn't look as off the board now!

Boom. Barron goes 25th. That trade is looking mighty delicious 2 years later.

Re: Annual Draft prediction gogogogogogogoogo
I was back and forth between Mukhamadullin and Kleven deciding which 3rd pair periph D to take that some NHL GM would reach on. Took Kleven and Mik grabbed Shakir next.

Re: Annual Draft prediction gogogogogogogoogo
The top 12 are the 12 players I was expecting...just hard to decide where spots 4-12 were going to end up.
Raymond going to the Wings is a mild surprise but I think it really all depends on the team at the particular spot and what do they value. Picking a player #4 doesn't mean he was the 4th best player...it just meant he's player the team with the 4th pick wanted over the other available players. It's not really about being right, it's does the player fulfill the expectations of the team that drafted them.
I sure Raymond is an offensive force in the NHL because they chose him over some other talented players. If your player succeeds but a player after them in the draft ends up being "better", that doesn't make your pick bad if the player becomes a valued player on your roster for a long time. You just don't want to end up with the player that can never make the NHL or the player proves they weren't worthy of a high pick.
