I’m thinking the same thing regarding the islanders pick. Tough division if we are realigning like the nhl

If the NHL were ever to change the draft eligible age to 19 and cohort two drafts - this would be the year to do it.

I had a similar thought about them allowing Sept 16 to Dec 31 into the 2020 draft as the season won't start until 2021.

I assume the cut off date revolves around not having 17 year olds in training camps for insurance or something.
