I'll be losing out on makar, jokiharju, ty smith, andreas johnsson, miles wood, Jordan greenway, kahkonen, beginning of week games for desmith so may not get any goalie gp either

My roster is getting wrecked by COVID and injuries. It's quite possible that I might end up with only 1 active defenseman for this entire week. It's frustrating that I went ahead and acquired a couple veterans to round my defense before the season and at no point have I had all 6 guys playing at the same time.

I didn't imagine I'd have a last place team but I'm sure have the luck of a last place team. I don't have my 1st round pick so this was obviously not the direction I wanted to go. I really thought (at worst) I was going to be in the middle third of the league this year if I wasn't going make a push for a playoff spot.

On the bright side, I've got a few forwards performing well. I got mixed reaction on the Malkin deal but if I can do something with that 1st round pick I acquired, it'll work out well for me. Whether Malkin is having a good or bad year, he would've wasted away on this roster. I'd have no prayer of trading him now given how his season is going.
