(Chicago) Elite BBKL'ers available
(Chicago) Elite BBKL'ers available
Players available before the deadline:
Big Ticket items (by Chicago standards):
Tyler Myers
Justin Faulk
Jonas Brodin
For these players I would ask for a 1st + roster player + prospect in return. All prime-aged dmen who are contributing stellar BBKL numbers.
Mid-Level Items:
Robby Fabbri - looking to swap for a bonified center around the same age.
Josh Bailey - 1st round pick gets him. Could settle for a package of picks/prospects to help me build up some depth as well.
Decent Buys
Jacob Mcdonald - playing FT minutes in Colorado. 4th round pick
Mike Reilly - playing FT minutes on Ottawa. Seems to always have a home due to his puck skills. 3rd round pick
Riley Sheahan - great pk'er and faceoff man. 2nd round pick
Tobias Rieder - great periphs and pk time. 2nd round pick
Kyle Clifford - won't get you Matt Martin type hits, but is still a good depth grab if you need a slight boost. 3rd round pick
Corey Perry - Dude has lots of hardware, just no software on his shoulders. Good depth veteran who is seeing good ice-time in MTL. 4th round pick
Basically free:
Andrew Ladd
Loui Eriksson
Not availabe unless deal blows me away:
Pretty much everyone that is good on my team and under the age of 25.

Another studly game by Faulk. He's really found his game this year as a two-way minute munching BBKL monster.
Re: (Chicago) Elite BBKL'ers available
He’s playing very well in St. Louis. Just stay patient and someone will come pay the price for him.

Have to be unless you wanna rush the process and rushing the process doesn’t do anyone any good in this league.Da_Hawks wroteCOLONI'm a very patient person!KapG wroteCOLONHe’s playing very well in St. Louis. Just stay patient and someone will come pay the price for him.

You’re probably right. Not sure why I’m doing this charity work when I’ve got my own decimated farm system to finish rebuilding. Da Hawks is alright tho and us rebuilders do need to stick together...Jordan (VGK) wroteCOLONhe should pay u a commission to market his playersKapG wroteCOLONHe’s playing very well in St. Louis. Adding Josh Bailey who's been great lately.
Myers and Faulk just keep being studly.

People want to draft and develop now, not trade away all their futures all the time like everyone rushed to do years ago.bills09 wroteCOLONLeague is dying let’s be real.
Trade talks for me have been no less busy then they have been over the last several years. Also, really, if you want to make trades you have to send out offers not just wait for people to message you, which is probably what Hawks is waiting for.
Also, not to be a dick, but none of those assets on the block are really must haves lol. Not bad pieces necessarily but It’s no surprise people aren’t tripping over themselves to make a trade for them especially during a time when the cap has been significantly affected by COVID.
Idk i think you are wrong.

It's the flat cap. No competitive team has cap to add players. Teams that do have cap are ones likely rebuilding and not looking to trade their picks/prospects for NHLers.bills09 wroteCOLONLeague is dying let’s be real.

Re: (Chicago) Elite BBKL'ers available
I agree with Arian...the flat cap has removed a lot of flexibility from the top teams to add. It's basically got to be dollar-in / dollar-out deals.

I don't mind the league being quiet for a few years. Gives me time to get through the baby years without completing fucking up my team here haha.
Also, sending out offers to people just doesn't make much sense right now. If people want something, they know where to look. I'm not going to change people's minds just by asking them if they are interested.

I do the same thing regarding sending offers. I’m just saying If you want trade talk sometimes you have to be proactive about itDa_Hawks wroteCOLONI don't mind the league being quiet for a few years. Gives me time to get through the baby years without completing fucking up my team here haha.

I’ll go weeks also without an offer at times!

You may not change minds, but I do find it does open up discussion, that does often lead to trades.
