Received 3 shares on the enbridge DRIP today in my TD account. The rest I was paid cash (I was like 3-4 dollars away from a 4th share)Da_Hawks wroteCOLONNext time the dividend comes through, have a look and see if you get the cash or the drip. Idk lol.Da_Hawks wroteCOLONIt's not a brokerage thing - Enbridge actually discontinued the DRIP program in 2018, and I have not seen them change back yet.KapG wroteCOLONI didn’t even know it wasn’t DRIPable? Did Enbridge stock go back to allowing the DRIP?
To answer your question as best I can, yes, it can be put on DRIP. With TD at least...

Great, good to know. thanks!

I like the penny potential of BAC and the long-term potential growth of companies like PKK and Nuvei.
Outside of my core that I've had over the past year, I've not done much extra work. Just no time. Not much more help then that.

Re: Investing
Been buying airbnb and will be looking to buy more of it over the next 6-7 months.
Probably get it cheaper than it is now what with the new Covid variant running through Europe.

Re: Investing
Put money in Canadian banks or oil right now and you're gonna make money.
Royal bank up about 17% in the past month, which is pretty huge for a dividend paying large company. I assume it's due to interest rates are expected to go up, which will compound banks profits.
Hopefully this bank and oil streak lasts a while longer.

I’m pretty aggressively attacking the cannabis sector right now and for the foreseeable future. Just curious if any of you are doing the same?
I’ve positions in:
Village farms international (vff)
Harvest health and recreation (HARV)
Tilt holdings inc (tilt)
Acreage holdings inc (acrg)
Village farms is my Canadian play right now. The last three are American MSOs that I’m building positions in before shit really takes off down in the states.
My only non cannabis play right now is Twilio (twlo)
Just thought maybe some of you would be interested in discussing this kind of thing
If not I’ll just go back to minding my own business lol

Re: Investing
I think SQ pretty cheap right now if you're holding long term.
Bought in at $186 and will probably add more to bring my average cost down
MSFT for a safer buy.
I just do broad market ETFs other than that though

I’m eyeing SE if it keeps going lower. Also want to beef up my dividends. Perhaps a beginner position in Telus and then add some more Cibc so the drip can get going again. Also have interest in a Bitcoin ETF if it keeps correcting. Only so much money tho…

See I feel I missed the boat on NFTs so at this point the easy money has already been made. Has me very hesitant to risk any money in that sector. Also can’t quite grasp the concept. Makes no sense to me. Another reason why I’m totally hesitant

For me, right now, I only sort of get it. But I'm in it for the investing aspect of it and strictly for the money right now. I'm not in it for the reasons many others are in. My portfolio is become so much more significant than I could have imagined and it's kind of overwhelming to even think about it in raw dollars when I look at it.
I have my own NFT project I'm trying to get running again (was crushing it before) as well.

The run up on oil has been a lot of fun. If Russia invades the Ukraine in the next week or so it will get even more bonkers. Could see oil go to 100+

Hopefully the war, and stocks falling because of it, means BOC don't raise rates in March.
