I was analyzing my GP this morning...I have 2 bad weeks, 5 & 6 30 & 28 GP due to covid.

I need to average 43 for the next 5 weeks to hit 525.

fingers crossed. (not including short week 1, have averaged 45.2 GP the other 5 weeks)

I think I'm likely going to get stomped a bit this week with only 3 active dmen. Makar/parayko/jokiharju all in lineup and not playing. Unfortunately it comes vs 3 teams I'm currently in a tight race for a playoff spot with: Calgary, Colorado, and Arizona. we are currently ranked 6th (cgy), 7th (Ana), 8th (arz), 9th (col) with 20 points separating 6th and 9th. 20 points being nothing given each single matchup is worth 32 points.

Will need kahkonen/desmith duo to come up big again this week.

Really hope to keep things at least...fairly even.

Manson injured in the first game I dress him, after he had 9 hits and 7 BS in the previous two games, the firsts back after his prolonged absence.
I suppose he will miss all 4 games of the current week, as per tradition with the Monday's night injuries

kinda stupid how many games they dressed that backup wsh goalie vatachek or some dude!!!! dun even know why they need to sign anderson!!!! fk covid fk up my goalie GP and may only barely made it after i overpay for a "backup"...

This is kind of the stuff I want to get back into doing. Hang onto some prospects and just let them marinate and eventually a guy or three will pop onto an NHL roster and if they can they produce right away, even better.

The progression of your prospects will dictate the speed of your rebuild. Team success will happen when it happens. I think Arian's team is a great example.

The whole point of rebuilding or retooling is to draft enough guys and hope some of them become something that can eventually help you. One lottery pick can help a team but the best drafts I've had were the ones where I've had a decent quantity of picks. I want to get back to that and hang onto those guys and reap those rewards instead of throwing a lot of guys away on risky or low-upside trades.

2 goals and GWG for Nic Dowd this past night, Matt's team never stops surprising me. And I'm managing to lose goalie's stats in impressive fashion.

Add in Manson and Josi missing the week with the usual Monday/Tuesday's news, and I don't see my team turning these matchups around this week
