Buffalo-Dallas is close overall but the individual categories, there's only a few that could flip either way. A lot of lopsided categories...Will needs to untie GWG and flip any of PIM, SOG and ST points.

Nashville-Washington is a offensive slugfest. Mik needs a big weekend flip the major scoring categories but it's not impossible.

I see Crosby is getting killed by Rust, Zucker and Hughes...

Given the weird year and that it looks like there are quite a few makeup games, we have a few options:

- 2 week final
- go til NHL games run out

It's an usual situation this year but why leave games on the table? Some of us lost games during the season because of these postponements that we can't get back. Use 'em or lose 'em.

Does anyone have a lot of Canucks? The Avs and a few others have 7 games left. The fewest remaining is Detroit...only two games left.

Because this isn't the regular season. It's the finals in a year we need to decide what the finals looks like on the fly. Do you really want a finals where either team has a 20 game advantage?

According to Fantrax...Sabres have a 112-104 edge if you go to the 16th. Matt has Motte and Miller from the Canucks...that might be your difference there.

Motte is injured, probably have to use Rakell and ANA doesn’t have as many games so GP would be closer.

I’d prefer we do at least 2 weeks, we usually always do that and only went one this season since there were less regular season weeks.

I have 12 of my 104 in goalie gp, and bruyns has 8 of his 112 in ggp. So skaters will be closer to 92-104 in bruyns favour. If that's the way the 2 week schedule comes out, then that's the way it comes out...I'm definitely going to have an uphill battle.

It's funny. The second week is going to essentially be only 4 or 5 players from either team playing the entire week. Most players are done after week 1.

Should have been decided before starting the playoff, I thought I read on this forum that we would have a 2 week final once the season was extended.

If that's not the case, now it will be pretty ugly whatever is decided. But obviously we need that at least clarified before the Matts decide their lineups...

Since the NHL season will last beyond 2 weeks, maybe cutting our season short at Sunday 16 could be a good compromise. As it is now, only 2 games would be left out.
However, that way a team like CGY would only play 5 games over our 2-week final.

The original final day of the regular season is this coming Saturday (May 8). When I laid out the schedule for you guys before the season, that was our original plan. Our finals start Monday, May 3 but we have no control over if the regular season would extend past Saturday. All the rescheduled games changed that.

What we ended up with is a one-week final plus the makeup games. Only Anaheim, Arizona, Buffalo, Columbus, Detroit, N.Y. Rangers, Pittsburgh finish their season on the original schedule date.

If we stop Saturday, these teams have games remaining:

From May 16-May 19, there are 3 games loosely scheduled between Calgary-Vancouver (TBD start time). There's also Vancouver-Edmonton on the 15th with TBD start time. I think the standings are going to affect if those games are actually played. The season may only go to the 14th unless those last 4 games with Vancouver are necessary in the North Division.

I don't think the NHL has even decided when the Stanley Cup playoffs will even start.

There is the possibility they will call it season with some teams having played less games than others? would sound like an amateur league
