We've had a lot worse teams in the league. Not to mention the Islanders are in the most favourable division for a quick turnaround rebuild.

A pretty solid defence, and 4 or 5 good prospects.

It'll be a challenge for the next GM but it won't be impossible if they're patient.

Tony's time here was running out and I understand him wanting to compete but it means leaving the cupboard bare when he left.
