There’s stages but they want a minimum of 21 days between each stage.
Even though we hit the requirements for stage 3 before we got to stage 2.

Without trying to create any hysteria or anything…I think I’ve got that rare side effect that’s popped up in young adults after their 2nd mRNA dose…

2nd dose was around 3-4 weeks ago and I’ve been having some chest pain/discomfort/palpitations for like 2-3 weeks. Left side of chest near rib cage beside pectoral muscle underneath armpit…that area. I thought it would just go away by itself but it hasn’t. I’m not overly stressed out, more annoyed than anything. Thst said, I did call my doctor today and he wants to see me tomorrow. Fml lol

For the record I’d 100% do it all over again. Like I said, im more annoyed than anything. I’m also just speculating, but it’s ironic that I’ve never felt this before in my life and now it’s happening after the shots. Will probably have to go for an echocardiogram if I had to guess. My bro does those and that’s what he figures

Definitely a rare side effect, but it has been documented.
Shouldn't cause any hysteria to anyone that can interpret simple numbers and realizes a side effect like this is extremely rare, but this pandemic has shown a shocking amount of people cannot do this lol.

Hoping it's nothing for your sake though - good luck!

Yah, I’m pretty sure we don’t have any tin foil wearing conspiracy theorists here, but just in case you know... I didn’t wanna get into it lol

Thank you Arian. Will keep everyone posted

None of the vaccines were claiming to be 100% effective with zero side effects.

There's no 100% way to avoid the virus but there's no guarantee that everyone who contracts the virus will show any symptoms or appear ill...but on the other extreme, it's put a lot of people in the hospital or worse. This is not a one size fits all issue. It's going to effect each person different.

Anybody who avoids getting the vaccine or refuse to wear a mask very well could avoid getting the virus. It doesn't mean they're right, it just means they were more fortunate than others.

Huh?

If you’re posting some non medical opinion of yours you picked up on Facebook or something, I’d rather you keep that to yourself. That’s not why I shared what I shared. If you have something legitimate to share that has medical data to back it up feel free to elaborate

I’m not trying to be an ass with my reply Matthew. Your post was just not very helpful when I’m over here trying to share personal stuff regarding my health and my heart at that. You know?

Have been seeing lots of young men mostly with concerns for this in the ED and still have yet to diagnose it.
So odds are it’s likely nothing. If it is peri/myocarditis, often not severe.
Good luck man!

Thanks Mike! I’m not freaking out or anything, but I do want to know what’s going on. Like…something is definitely not right.

Edit: tbh, I didn’t even really know there was any side effects (rare) that effected the heart until maybe a week of feeling the symptoms. Even then I didn’t read up on it because I figured it was just minor and would go away on its own. It’s not gone away on its own tho and was pretty bad today (still not to the point where I was freaking out, but I was getting slightly more concerned ). That’s when I did a bit of reading and decided to phone up my doctor. I explained what was going on and he told me to come in and see him tomorrow.
