Good start for the Kraken, signed Larsson and rumoured to sign Oleksiak. Edmonton and Dallas had two of the exposed lists with the least to choose from so makes sense to aggressively pursue their UFAs.

4M per for Larsson seems solid.

Hoping a couple of my eligible guys gets selected by Seattle so I have more reason to go to Seattle and watch a few games :

pls take dunn!!!! and i think it's a slam dunk for them to take dunn.. i doubt they can get a better return from tarasenko than drafting dunn.... unless they risk with tarasenko...

Whole team is pretty much leaked.

Some weird choices like Bayreuther from CBJ with no side deal. Waiting on seeing what other side deals there are to explain other questionable picks. I think they did decent overall, young and cheap and can chase after some UFA or take on contracts in trades. I don't think they have the offence to surprise like VGK did but I didn't think VGK would be any good so who knows.

Disappointed Leafs lost McCann, would have rather exposed Holl.

holl stays. too valuable defensively
and mccann trade was to protect kerfoot anyways. worked out
and CBJ pick probably just to have their AHL depth competitive. Bayreuther is a mature pro who excels in AHL
they werent gonna waste it on domi or grigs
and maybe they werent a fan of gabe carlsson

Unless several players surprise à la Vegas, the Kraken will have a relatively week roster. I guess they went young-ish and cheap.

Is Seattle going to be a large UFA destination? Suppose they could be if they are the only ones with money left.

btw what were the alternatives to 37yrs old Giordano from the Flames?

Phillips was probably the next best option and he might not be anything. Already heard rumours of a Gio for R Strome deal. I think they will flip him.
