I think Buffalo takes a slight step back in the east due to losing E Kane, but there still arent many true challengers in the east. Anyone who makes a few good competing trades in that conference can make the playoffs in the east. Thom has a deep ass team.

Tons of depth in the west as far as talented teams, but only so many can make the cut. LAK take a step back in the west. I think there are 13 teams in the west that can make the playoffs and actually be a tough first round matchup.

Washington over Edmonton in the final.

This is just for fun. Dont get your panties in a knot folks.

It wouldn't shock me if you finished ahead of me, we are definitely 1-2. I don't think you are deep though, not much depth at all if there are injuries.

ya i agree kinda. I have NHL depth, then poof. But ... it always comes down to injury luck - we're not all Mik with 3 NHL teams after pillaging certain teams

This was tough, pretty evident the West is waaaay stronger than the East. I think from 3 down in the East would be a bubble playoff team in the West. East teams 3-9 and 10-16 are bunched pretty tightly, but I think those are the two tiers.

Predicting the West standings is a crap shoot. Colorado is better than 7 but has no goalie, if he gets one he could rise if he doesn't he could fall. CGY, ARZ, and MIN all are comfortably playoff teams in the East and I wouldn't be surprised to see them make it in the West, but not sure who in the top 8 wouldn't make it. CHI, VGK and WPG are the bottom tier, but will still finish over a handful of East teams most likely. GP always has an impact on the bottom of the standings and some teams have holes in their lineups and injuries could make it worse.

I will pass you and in the playoffs I shall destroy you. This is the way.
