lol schenn is flavour of the month. its very close and the + would be no more than a mid round pick/mid range prospect, if anything at all.

if Schenn were a leaf prospect, and just had a WJ championship like that...we'd all be jumping for joy.

Schenn will be the flavour for the next 10 years. he's big, fast and has an amazing hockey iq.

kadri was busy playing pro hockey while schenn was dominating a tournament for teenagers.

kadri ppg in the A. we are jumping for joy mate.

As evidenced by my opinion on both prospects. We are talking opinions here aren't we? I don't believe there is a scientific formula to prove a hypothesis about the viability of a hockey player. At least not that I'm aware of?

Schenn is a far more complete player, but I think Kadri has the edge on offensive ability, not necessarily in the stats they have put up to date, but in how those talents project at the next level.

This is my opinion on the matter

In the real NHL I think Schenn would be better in Toronto, and Kadri would be better off in LA.

I highly doubt there is a trade between the two teams, and B. Schenn is ever a leaf, but IMO both players would perform up to their current levels if they switched teams.

I just think Schenn is a far superior player. Maybe with less flash, but has better tools to be an every day NHL forward. To suggest Kadri is better simply because he spent more time in the NHL this year is overlooking the fact that the Kings have a deep NHL roster while the Leafs are icing a team of AHL'ers on most nights.

With that said I'm only projecting a 2nd line center gig for Schenn. If he surprises maybe a Mike Richards like career. I don't see him being a world beating superstar. I just have a very poor opinion of Kadri.
