I hate how your making the + sound substantial by not actually naming the asset...It was a second rounder, not Evgeni Malkin, a second rounder...That's the cost for a proven PF selected 13th in a top heavy draft...Besides, I didn't see Topher giving up a Kassian...I was more then willing to work around other pieces, but Matt specifically targeted Kassian.

Like I said to you on MSN, I easily would have doubled the above offer, but Matt is a terrible communicator in trades...It's one thing if it were just with me, but I've spoken to a bunch of other General Managers who feel the same.
