I can already tell you don't watch Staal...Your using the same idiotic point most leaf fans do on HF, "Staal is a third liner with 50ish points, on the top line hed score 70 easy OMGZ." Staal is not a third liner, not in the traditional sense, he gets top 6 minutes, and has been tried on a top line role as a winger, but he simply doesn't excel in that role. Jordan is not a player that can elevate the play of his teammates either. He is so overrated it's ridiculous, yes he is a great defensive player, but so is Pavelski, calling Jordan the superior H2H player further proves you don't know what the hell you are talking about in this matter. Pavelski is the superior face off man, I find it funny that you argue otherwise.

I 100% agree that at this point J.Staal is overrated by Leaf fans but by no means is he not going to get better.. I think he has a ton of room to grow. I think Kareem wins this deal but not HUGE, it's a pretty reasonable trade imho.
