I was going to pick Sundstrom. Nice pick, though he reminds me of a worse Viktor Kozlov.

really? wow, i felt pretty safe at 70ish.. but i don't see any pick of yours coming up, so maybe you meant in the mid 4th round?

as for Johan, he is definitely worse than Viktor on pure skills (not many are better lol), but is a different kind of player i think, one who could succeed as a 3rd line center as well if he learns to battle more consistently.

similarities are probably more in style (body and gait) than in substance, the end product as players should be quite different (not saying necessarily better, of course).

I did have a better suggestion. 6 hours. but apparently it's already been decided at 12 hours. Leaving lists with people is apparently not an option either.

But alas, the life of one GM trumps the life of 29 others, especially when leaving even 1 or 2 names is a monumental task.

I agree. I hate how this draft year was handled. I don't see the need to be done before the NHL draft starts. I just think the first round should be done before the NHL draft. Hopefully its different next year, back to the old ways.

it was discussed publicly and then inside the CC.

most wanted to complete at least 2 rounds before the NHL draft and that was the ensuing agreement.
the 3rd originally should have started afterwards, but (having it moved fast) everyone wanted to avoid to stop&wait for the NHL draft.. so we just let it go.
