Good deal for both teams. I know Scott was in the market for an offensive defenseman. But Methot is an excellent overall player too - won't get goals, but will do it all in his own end. Good deal for a declining, but still effective player.

I love the offense. When I can announce a couple trades, I love my periphes so I had no problem making this trade
