i replied to your PM
i cannot believe my pick didn't come up! i left an name and everything
ps- the sick puppies/ shinedown / nickleback concert was wicked... got the ringing ears right now... and i need to be up in 7 hours (no where near ready for bed either)....
Re: Draft Chat!
oh its so cool to dislike mainstream music...LOLbills09 wroteCOLONNickelback makes me want to punch babies
why? because all their songs sound the same? i've never thought that, especially with their popular songs...
the show was amazing, and they sounded really really good. Chad worked the crowd very well, and went on way way way past the expected duration... they were performing for more then 3 hours....

Alexander Svitov with the 29th overall pick. (I hope he has something to prove and shows his original draft location on the ice..lol If not whatever)
Is he supposed to be coming back to the Jackets next season?
Re: Draft Chat!
Born and raised in Omsk, Russia, Svitov played for his hometown team the last three seasons. His average tax-free income was said to be between the equivalent of $1.5-2 million a season. However, Svitov -- still just 27 years old -- wants to prove himself in the best league in the world.kyuss wroteCOLONmr. bruin wroteCOLONThe Bruins are proud to make a high risk/high reward pick in selecting

With his 6-3, 210-pound frame, decent hands and fighting ability, Svitov could be a valuable signing at a time when teams are looking for their version of Dustin Byfuglien. Last season he was 7-17-24 in 41 games with Omsk, fourth behind leading scorer Jaromir Jagr, who had 42 points in 51 games.
Like all free agents out of Europe, Svitov is eligible to be signed by an NHL team beginning on July 1.

Re: Draft Chat!
HeHe...the 3rd. Well i got excited by that article. Like i said, high reward for hits and pims with a bit of offense if he signs...who knows. There are still two other guys i would like to get a hold of but likely wont be around by my next pick...lol.facey wroteCOLONgreat pick kyle.

Re: Draft Chat!
he's more then hits and PIMs... that article under-sells him HUGE... LOL @ buffy .... this guy has true finishing skills.... if he's coming here to play 20g 25a is not out of the question... and like you said, he'll be good peripheries as well.

somehow i doubt he's the only guy that knew of his existence... for some reason i was hoping people would just pass/ignore him for another 30 picks...LOL
Re: Draft Chat!
what is this consolation NYI pick @ #30?? shouldn't it be added the end of the first... not that teams 3rd selection before other teams even get 1??? don't remember this being talked about anywhere...
Re: Draft Chat!
Tough. I should have been given the pick before - which I would have taken Baldwin. So eat my asshole ...

Yep, I was certain he would fall to me in the second, but that was before the article came out....facey wroteCOLONShoalzie wroteCOLONThat could a nice get for the B's...good on Kyle for doing the research.

Mike traded the Isles CGY's 1st, which he didnt own, so myself and Scott awarded Tony the 31.5 pick as compensation.facey wroteCOLONNighthock wroteCOLONTough. I should have been given the pick before - which I would have taken Baldwin. So eat my asshole ...

Re: Draft Chat!
ehm.. shouldn't have Mike traded something else to Tony instead to replace the missing pick?MSP4LYFE wroteCOLON Mike traded the Isles CGY's 1st, which he didnt own, so myself and Scott awarded Tony the 31.5 pick as compensation.
It looks to me this way Mike was basically awarded a pick, and for no reason. Unless i'm missing something, of course.
