It looks to me this way Mike was basically awarded a pick, and for no reason. Unless i'm missing something, of course.

i'd be shocked if some fine was not being talked about somewhere... its just tough to give a value on a waiver draft selection

just looking at what other waiver picks have been traded for seems to set the market.

i'd suggest forefit a 2nd round waiver pick + loss of 4th 2010 entry ?

or simply loss of 3rd round entry (this seems to harsh IMO).

I really don't care much for waiver picks, which is why I traded all mine away. I was offering Lang up when Svitov was still available, so something around that. Guess it'd need to be a pick? A couple options:

- my 1st waiver pick next year
- 3rd 2011/12

where u doing lang for the waiver pick? or for svitov in particular? there is a difference IMO. If it was lang straight up for the pick and you don't care about him, releasing him into the draft (post-hoc drop), i'd consider that over-payement of dept as well; but up to you.
