Imo if you don't think staals h2h stats decrease next season you are dumb. He's been kicked down that pecking order super quick.

Staal? You mean Stoll? And I disagree.. sure, they acquired Gagner and Richards but they also didn't re-sign Handzus and Schenn's not coming up to take away minutes from him. IMHO, the Richards deal, bundled with Handzus not being re-upped, did nothing but help Stoll. Call me dumb I guess..

Gotta agree with Scott. Stoll's point production won't go down. Nor will his role as a checking center on that team. Richie will take SHTOI too but it'll be Stoll on PK unit 1 IMO.

your LOLs make my statement sound worse than it is. well done. And I think the logical move is definitely to put Richards on PK2 so that he can more effectively be used offensively. Especially when a capable center like Stoll can do the job well enough (i.e. FO in defensive zone)

Richards will likely lead the forwards in TOI, and they'd be crazy to not use him short handed. Hell he has 3 of the 4 3v5 goals scored since the lockout (iirc).

What hand is stoll? Richards and kopi are lefties so stoll could be thei right side of the ice ace - and he'll still run point on pp2.

But TBH I'm with shook - hard to find a more over-valued piece then Oshie. Even I over value him.

yeah, oshie is overrated until he proves that potential he has. may happen this year though, who knows.
