BAD news IF confirmed.
Re: Sid the Kid - May not be ready for September
Pretty terrible news for sure. Whoever owns him is screwed if the news is true. Means he might not be getting in any games for October.
Re: Sid the Kid - May not be ready for September

but it's equally as scaring if you read what it says.

What a blow to the game if he is a permanent fixture on the IR. And whoever traded him last, it was probably a good move. The concussion kids in this league have a major hit in value. I think only Bergeron has come back from that and now holds his true value.

I traded him last. But I hope Sid comes back and puts up 140 points for Bry.mr. bruin wroteCOLONWhat a blow to the game if he is a permanent fixture on the IR. I'd still pay full value for Sid. Just saying
Re: Sid the Kid - May not be ready for September
And I wouldn't trade him for anything less.

Afraid may be witnessing the death of of the greatest sports players of this generation. The guy isn't even 25. That's 10 100+ point seasons he could still put up.
Re: Sid the Kid - May not be ready for September
Different people react differently to concussions, they are obviously not willing to risk anything. He won't be back till hes a 100%, which is the way it should be. Better to play it safe than risk having him be another Lindros. Shows just how serious one or two head injuries can be.
