I think Bartschi can be good. Depends on how the Flames develop him. I even think he's good enough to make an impact this year. But that being said, he is nowhere near as good as what Frank thinks.

Bartschi is actually a very good player, but Frank overrates him, like he does with all of his players, just last night he turned down Ryan Murphy for Sven straight...

Who has CGY 1st? Me want.
I do but its top 2 protected so the best outcome would be 3rd. May have to give frank some assets ;) ;)

Can't wait for the season to start so that Frank can find out that Olesz and Stalberg are not making the Blackhawks, causing him to move Bartschi and Tarasenko for Timothy Brent.

Stalberg has a safe roster spot on the hawks...

Frank is good shit, but his comparisons/expectations of some of his prospects is bordering on full retard.

I liked him when he was a leaf, and liked what I saw of him as a hawk. Obviously not top line, or even top 6, but he's not a scrub either, at least IMO

First of all my expectation are not retarted. Like per example Nino is soo overhype, same with ryan Johansson. So for me saying that when ever Tarasenko come over is not far fetch to see him being on the top 6 and even top 3. The for Baertschi I feel he's gona make the cut for the flames as a top 6 foward but I never said he won't get cut after 9 games. Also for Tatar I feel he prove enough to make the Detroit from anywhere from bottom 6 or top 6 foward. I also know that the chance of Philip Larsen of making the Dallas are very slim to none since Dallas all ready have 7 D on the 1 way but when Dallas will need a D Larsen should be the 1st call up. Then after for Mason I never said he's gona be the best. I only said I believe he should post arround 5 Sho, over 30 wins, over .910 save %. Do you want me too go on. I may seen someone that put there player way up compare to someone else but what am I sepose to do but them very low for you to get a steal from me. No thx.. Also For Olesz and Stalberg I believe there safe enough to make the team. they both should be near the top 6 but since Chicago is loaded they ll start off on the bottom 6. Also for Baertschi for Marleau thing that i said I wouldn't do, it was only to piss off a couple of gm since I know I would take it only cause I like is Cap ;).

That is not what the expectations you've expressed to me in the past. Comparing to Nino And RyJo is fair, although there is a little doubt they are more ready for the NHL transition then Tara.

Frank you've told me repeatedly that you believe he's as good, or better, then Jeff Skinner (and you put him as one of your fav's for ROY every time).

When you speak reasonably, like the above, then you're correct-> the expectations are not (full) retard. However speaking insanity and the being called out on it, followed up by clarifying with reasonable answers doesn't mean what you said before wasn't asinine.

I remember when I compare Baertschi to Skinner. I gotta admit that there's very slim chance that Baertschi will match those stats in is first year in the nhl.
Also I know the odds are agints Baertschi but I believe it would less surprise me if Baertschi math those stats then skinner. Like Skinner really came out of nowhere.
I never taugth Skinner had a chance to make the nhl.
