I agree, this isn't a very good deal but I needed to shed salary. Trading Johansen for Hossa put me 3.771 million over the cap. So I trade Keith for Robidas + and Rene for Hansen. 2 downgrades, but only slightly. LOL?

Hossa more then covers these 2 slight downgrades.. imho, I improved my team a lot.

Frank stop thinking Hansen is a good hockey player he isn't. He puts up decent perifs in h2h but is a TRUE 3rd/4th liner in real life. He is no Baertschi.

I dont think this is terrible for Scott as he needed th cap relief, I just would have made frank add something...like a first.

who-ever owned Rene at that point in time did receive that offer... and it's been broken down and used other ways so cannot work anymore. Also please see my previous post regarding cap.
