Re: Trade: NJD/ANA
I wouldn't worry too much about it Cliff, Ray Emery's crap and Salak's a beast.. he should make the team.
Re: Trade: NJD/ANA
Hahaha time will tell Scotty boy
Re: Trade: NJD/ANA
Nice deal. Some questions about Salak's ability to control his hybrid style though.
Re: Trade: NJD/ANA
What happens to your condition if there's an injury? A trade?
Re: Trade: NJD/ANA
Yeah but Salak will be the start by game 50, so that kind of sucks for Cliff. The Devil wroteCOLONI wouldn't worry too much about it Cliff, Ray Emery's crap and Salak's a beast.. he should make the team.

Re: Trade: NJD/ANA
Then the condition's off. It clearly says "if Alexander Salak doesn't win the backup role in Chicago" so that means gets traded or someone else is brought in as well. If there's an injury then the condition will be off too. Basically, he needs to be the opening night backup goaltender for the Chicago Blackhawks, no matter the scenario..Mike wroteCOLONWhat happens to your condition if there's an injury? A trade?

Vague? Seems very clear to me lol. If he's the backup on opening day, I get the 3rd instead of the 4th. If he isn't, I keep the 4th.Mike wroteCOLONUgh, way too vague a condition. This is not the type of condition you would ever see in the NHL. I thought we were trying to stop doing that? The Devil wroteCOLONVague? Seems very clear to me lol. I guess Cliff and I will just have a gentleman's agreement too then.
Re: Trade: NJD/ANA
right now the condition is not among the allowed types:
so i guess BBKL would have to determine if this makes exception or not.

Retirement, contract signings in NHL or overseas
GP in NHL regular season
Pick protection
BBKL team final results (final RS standings or playoff outcome)
player winning a major NHL award
Any detail and possible scenario of the deal needs to be clearly reported in the thread starter announcing the deal.
